A final no to Oscars
Despite efforts by Ellen DeGeneres on her show, Kevin Hart will not take up the job as host of the Oscars this year. While the situation is still fluid and he could change his mind, but a ‘no’ is supposedly his final answer. Kevin’s appearance on Ellen to promote his upcoming film The Upside rekindled hope when Ellen urged Hart to host the Academy.
Last December when it was revealed that Hart would host the Oscar, he withdrew two days later when decade-old offensive homophobic tweets resurfaced.
